Consultation & Coaching

Life will knock us off course through trauma, divorce, loss, major transitions, or simply feeling stuck. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed, anxious, or lost. Therapy can help you find a new path, build a stronger sense of self, and improve your quality of life. You may not choose what happens, but you can choose how to respond. Reaching out is a courageous first step, and I’m here to help. With 15 years of experience, including 10 at the VA Hospital, I’ve supported individuals facing trauma, loss, and life’s toughest challenges. My approach is compassionate and direct, focused on helping you get where you want to be.You don’t have to navigate this alone. I have group, individual and self-help options available for you so you can move at your own pace. Get more details using the navigation buttons at the top of the page. If you'd rather just reach out, call or email for a free 15-minute consultation—I’d love to connect.
Individual Therapy
I believe people make the most progress when they are ready to explore underlying beliefs and patterns of behaviors; that is when real change happens. This can be a tough process for people, but highly effective if you are ready to tackle hard problems. Therapy should be goal-driven with you in the driver’s seat defining the change you would like to see in your life. I approach clients with a collaborative, compassionate, and direct style to get you where you want to be. If individual work sounds overwhelming, consider my group options or down-load self-help modules for other modes of therapeutic intervention.I am honored to walk along beside you in your journey to living a better quality of life where your emotional needs are met and your relationships with others are healthy and supportive. All sessions are telehealth so you can join from the comfort of your home using your phone!
Group Therapy
Want to gain skills without committing to individual therapy? Group therapy is a perfect option for people at the start of the therapeutic journey or for those coming back to refresh skills. You may learn all you need to address your concerns through a group, but if not, I will make a recommendation for you at the end of the group if requested. All groups are telehealth so you can join from the comfort of your home using your phone!Learn more about current group offerings using the buttons below. A link to sign up for each group is available at the end of the group description.

Mondays, 4 - 5 PM
Wednesdays, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Meeting Type:
Virtual (online via Zoom)
Many women struggle with self-esteem and feeling empowered. This 6-week workshop is designed to help you better understand where you are in your empowerment journey by giving you information, writing prompts, and time to reflect on how your life experiences have created critical voices in your head, how trauma has impacted your identity, and unpack relationship patterns by learning which emotional needs you were trying to get met. We will discuss boundary styles and how to implement healthy boundaries in your life! Each session, I will bring in a new topic connected to Empowerment and ask you to journal in session to explore your reactions. Part of building empowerment is using our voice and trusting in the validity of our own reactions. We will have time to process thoughts/reactions to the material in every group, but participation in the discussion is not mandatory. If you experience any of the following then this is the group for you:
Loss of identity
Pattern of people pleasing
Walking on eggshells in your relationships
Difficulty drawing boundaries
Often self-critical
Difficulty asking for or accepting help from others
Putting the needs of others before your own
Difficulty trusting yourself and making decisions
Feeling disappointed or unsatisfied by current relationships
Low self-esteem

Contact Dr. Sherron for questions or to be scheduled for the next group. Groups will run every 14 weeks.
Coaching & Consultation
Being a mental health provider can be draining and lonely, especially if you are in a solo practice. When I started my own practice, I felt overwhelmed and really alone. I no longer had peers to consult with and it left a giant void! I created the Consultation and Coaching sessions to help practitioners:
Process your case load or use the time on a specific challenging case
Look deeper at your own triggers with clients
Work through the difficult communication needed with some clients
Receive feedback and direction as you start your own practice
Find new perspectives with your challenging cases
Gain support for the emotional toll of being a mental health provider
Work through ethical questions
Getting a fresh take on your clients and seeking consultation with your own journey as a therapist can help safeguard your mental health. You don’t have to figure it out all on your own! Reach out to learn how a Coaching & Consultation meeting with me can help. $100/hr.
